Not sure if some of the older timers with Tentmaker will remember this -- and by that I don't imply anyone getting old, but simply having been here for quite a while longer than a lot of folks -- but I'd posted this prayer request on the prayer board July 15th of 2007 at 8pm C.S.T.  A week or two later the boards totally crashed a couple of times and that's why my prayer thread along those lines is no more.  Some folks have found me enormously cryptic, while others have understood what I've been saying, while others have been deeply annoyed, but without a doubt I think enough time has passed for me to be able to safely look back and rejoice in all that God's done and say that this prayer request has been thoroughly answered each step along the way.  Cardinal, reFORMer, WillieH, a couple of folks that have been banned, and one or two others may possibly remember this, particularly after I repost what I'd posted at that time.  I just wanted to post this as both a means of restirring my faith for the continued fulfillment of this, and also as an encouragement to folks around here, including some ministers that there's nothing you can think of that you'd need that God won't provide if you'll go to Him in faith with the promises of His Written Word.  There's no point where He'll come up with all of this, up to this or that particular point, but then you're going to have to come up with the rest.  No!  He'll provide absolutely everything you can think of 'cause He's insatiably in love with you.  This was 'word for word' what I posted a couple of years ago in mid-summer of 2007.  Rejoice with me 'cause I believe that I've stumbled upon something that all of us can be a little bolder about seeking Him for in our daily lives as we get up every morning:

"I'm the one with a prayer request for a change.

"I normally start praying and really believing God for the words that I'll say for the coming year around the latter part of September or the first part of October.  I've done that for over 15 years since I was in a minister's conference with Kenneth Copeland where he hammered away at us for a week on John chapter 8 in a message called "The Life Cycle and the Death Cycle."  As I prayed about that mesage later, after those meetings, that's when the Lord started instructing me along those lines.  For me personally, I've noticed things flowing so much more smoothly since then.  And like I said, I usually start praying about that around the last part of September or the first part of October.

"This year, it's come up earlier and with a stronger sense that there's more at stake in my life.  The Lord started talking to me about seeking His face and really pulling on the supply of His Spirit this last June instead of later in the year.  But I've kept ignoring that from the Holy Spirit, because I've had so much else going on.  Today, it got even stronger as the Lord said, "You haven't been taking Me seriously on this!  I want you to pray out what you'll say for the next three years, STARTING NOW!!"

"I don't know if that means that 2008 to 2010 are going to be busier for me, or if that just means that He wants me pulling so much more from His Spirit that He's telling me to already get a running head start.

"I'm aware of the passage in James about not being presumptuous, but to say, "if the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that."  But this isn't in that category.  I'm not trying to make my own plans, and neither am I criticizing anyone else who does.  This is more in harmony with the Scriptural principles of being His disciple and of not premeditating what I'll say when I'm coming before kings of the earth because He'll fill my mouth.

"Dozens of passages I could cite on this, but I'm not trying to set down a new doctrine.  I'm just asking for prayer along the lines of how He's raising me as His kid, per His instructions to me that I need to lay hold of my words for the next 3 solid years by faith, right now (i.e. in this season).

"If this is so new or strange to anyone reading this that you don't know where to begin, then just say, 'Father, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.  And in Jesus' Name, fill his mouth!!'"

(Time and date were noted both as a frame of reference for my faith that I believed I received when I prayed at this time per Mark 11:24 and because the same prayer request was posted on my own website.  I never went back on this once I received it as done.  And God's been cleaning up a lot of stuff in me during this time period, and the cleansing is ongoing per 1John 1:7; 2:6.)

cloud9 I DO remember this prayer request of yours Martin, and I am rejoicing with you that He has fulfilled His word to you, and will continue to do so. Father, we give You praise this day, and thank You for Your work among the nations (all of us). Blessings...

I have ZERO COMPLAINTS about the last 2 years, since this is the two year anniversary of all that God began to [increasingly] do and say [more and more] at this newer level through my life as of the prayer request I posted 2 years ago on the old boards before the board crash at that time that I've started this thread with as a testimony to His Faithfulness.  I am enjoying more and more of the fruit to the present day!  I love it!  I love Him more than ever!!  God has been soooo gooood and now I know what was at stake in my life back then and couldn't be happier with His faithfulness at keeping things on course!  He works all things according to the counsel of His Will.  And I believe the Word that was trying me has finally come, as far as into advanced fruition, as it says in Psalms about Joseph.

cloud9 And when I mean "know," not that there was ever any ignorance, lack of light, or unbelief on my part.  If I'm not posting much these days, just enjoying the hidden manna, budding rod, and water from the rock as I behold the blood of the ark of His Covenant for me in my heart! SparkleTooth

.

Hey! I wondered what happened to you!!! I thought I read you
were getting married, so I figured you had........

Praise the Lord for whatever He's done.

Sometimes God still talks to me about things He said 30-years
ago! or me to Him.

I agree, there is nothing like following this Spirit that is in YOU.
You follow the Spirit in YOU and I follow the Spirit in ME.  Isn't
that wonderful?

And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honor before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do to them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure to them. (Jeremiah 33:9)

Hi Martin

Please, sorry to change the subject, but I have been wondering about Kenneth Copeland, as to whether he perhaps is a UR's? I see you mention him. I get the "Victory" magazine from them each month and love it! I have never come across anything unbiblical in their writings, and have received much help from their insight into scripture, and their emphasis on the Word!

(I'm just being curious... blush)

"A practical test of a belief is whether it has a universal application; unconditional love."

Now, this is true Universal Revenue.
