Yep, one of the many outlandish, ridiculous and ludricrous contradictions that Calvinsts will state. I've heard several different Calvinists say that same thing exactly.
I don't think anyone disputes that God
could damn all if He chose too. The real issue: is that a loving thing to do? Of course not, and I have yet to have anyone explain it otherwise. You will get arguments like "mankind
deserves to go to hell" or "man volunteered to go to hell by sinning", while thy ignore their own theology which states God created and predestined them to be in that condition. So in effect God made a bunch of bad people so He could eternally torture them for being exactly as He created them.

I'm increasingly of the opinion that concepts like love, justice, etc are logical absolutes. One cannot define them to mean anything they want simply because you are the God of the universe. God cannot declare himself loving and torment all creation for eternity, any more than He can say 2+2=5. God is logical; I believe He created logic so it would be logical. Otherwise everything is meaningless and love=torture, 2+2=5; basically it devolves into a system of unstable nonsensical doublethink.
