Hi! My name is Terry Murr. The folks at Tentmaker knew I just recently got a computer AND was interested in learning Greek. They thought I might be a perfect candidate to give an appraisal of Greek Tutor by Parsons Technology.

I'm forty-five years old and a husband and dad. I love GOD'S word and especially the Greek versions. I've been studying the Greek for about fourteen months through books. This takes a lot of my time. I was amazed at how easy this program installed for someone that's not sharp with computers. I installed this program in about five to ten minutes. I was so happy to hear the Greek language pronounced so clearly. I could not get this from the books. Not only are pronunciations helping me to understand better also I'm starting to learn about how other parts of the language are used; such as how aorist and future tenses are used. Hearing these words as I read them makes it so much easier to understand. I also found the flashcards to be helpful in my progress in that I found I only knew a little more than half of words out of all the flashcards.

This program has great options in that you can chose to block out the English or not pronounce or to pronounce words.[ options are too many to list.] It also has easy to follow instructions which is a great help for someone like myself who does not have an instructor. The scripture memory spelling exercise is one of the best features, although its very tough, I feel its very necessary. I hope to see more of these types of programs in the future.

In summary, installation was a piece of cake even for someone like myself who just got their first computer, and the program is a great product and priced right. Great product, great price, great buy. If you have a computer and want to learn Greek, buy it, you won't regret it
