Giving Glory: This video is a special interview by Gary Amirault with Louis Abbott, (perhaps best known on the Tentmaker site as the author of "An Analytical Study of Words"). This in-depth study on various words that have been translated as: "eternal," "everlasting," "judgment," "Hell" etc, has proved to be an invaluable study tool for many. Gary Amirault was a personal friend of Louis Abbott and was able to record this video of him shortly before he died. In this special interview, you will hear of Bro. Abbott's testimony--how, as a young pastor he was challenged by one of his members to study universal reconciliation. Intending to disprove the doctrine, Louis instead became convinced that it was true. After eventually leaving his pastorate, he gave much of his life to studying Greek and Hebrew; ranging from ancient manuscripts to modern scholarship. Louis, who studied the Greek New Testament for 50 years, spent his lifetime gathering this treasure-trove of information, which is now made available to the world.
