The Web's Center for answers regarding Christian Universalism
(For beginners and serious students)
What is Christian Universalism? Simply put--it is the belief that God's plan for the ages is to reconcile all things to Himself through Jesus Christ. (This view is also known as Ultimate Reconciliation, Universal Salvation, the Doctrine of Inclusion, etc.). A Christian universalist believes that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, the only way to the Father, the only begotten Son of God, and that there is no other way to everlasting, "aionian" life but through Him. We believe He is king of the universe, and owner of all Creation, and that His purpose is to bring all things under His government and into reconciliation with Himself. We believe that the Bible, in its original languages never taught the concept of eternal punishment for anyone. The Bible is not a revelation of "where will you go when you die" but rather of Christ and His Kingdom.
".And for this we labor and strive, that we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe " (2 Timothy 4:10 ).
